My name is Silk and I make beats.  I just love this site and I just wanted to say thanx to the creators for putting it together. 

I'm new to the industry,  I've been rather shy about sharing my work on some of the other networking sites out there, 'cause they're all bogged down with the dating/hook up thing and the posting of established musicians songs/video and I felt it would take away from why I may have posted a beat or two here or there.

So, KUDOS TO MUSICIANS TOOLBOX!

for providing a social networking site that's all about the music and all about being original without the 21 personal essay questions at sign up.

THE CHAT FEATURE IS BY FAR THE BEST CHAT EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!

I love the privacy protection with chat where I don't have to give out my personal phone number if I want to continue the conversation offline. 

The video and audio features of chat is a God sent when me and the guys need to get together to discuss or work on a piece and conflicting schedules get in the way making it impossible to physically meet up.  TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!

Then there's the small things, time saving steps, I appreciate that go unnoticed until you need to use them, like uploading multiple tracks with their images all at the same time, not having to copy and paste repeated content to different sources, LOVE IT!
